We bought our 5 person American Whirlpool spa model 461 from the owner Doug back in 2017. We have been very please with it and we enjoy the soothing effect that it has on our bodies after a long days work. Our spa has served us well but more than that, Doug has served us well many years after the purchase. Yesterday, I noticed a problem I was having with the on/off dial for the waterfall. Water was gently running out between the knob where it meets the shell of the spa. I believed this to be not critical but I wanted to get it fixed. I sent Doug a video of what was going on and asked that he put us on his schedule for repair. Doug immediately replied and explained a 30 second fix. The fix was simple but I did not want to tamper with the dial and do any damage. Any other person could have easily put us on the repair schedule and charged an arm and a leg (we are out of warranty) for the service call but Doug is not that kind of person. Doug has always been an "After the Sale" business man and we would highly recommend his store for your spa purchase.
3 years ago we bought our spa from Doug and he is one of the few that delivered a great service. From the time we bought it to the time it was delivered, we experienced and exceptional service and he knows his products pretty well. He recommended us the best spa that we enjoyed. But recently we need to replace our our blower, and with a short notice Doug jump to help and fix it immediately and we didn't pay anything because it is covered by the warranty. I highly recommend this place, they are family and locally owned, honest and true to what they say, great customer service and great product.
Actually my wife and father in law went shopping for the spa, I am reviewing because I have particularly good feelings about this company. We purchased a reconditioned Spa from Aquatic Spas in October during peak COVID. This was a no bs reconditioning, they redid electronics as well as pumps. All new, and I have had the cover off to validate the rebuild. The owner (Jim) is very personable and has a commitment to customer service that translates “The buck stops here”. He didn’t consider the project finished until he fulfilled his promises and achieved 100% satisfaction. Pretty rare. There was a hiccup with the wrong cover sent and product supply problems during the pandemic, however again we were NOT given the runaround, and they supplied a beautiful new cover as soon as it was available fully 4 months after the sale consummated and checks were cashed. I have become so used to not getting what I paid for in the past that I really want to stress that this is a business you should go out of the way to use. If they treat all their customers like we were treated Aquatic Spas of Hilton Head has a very bright future. Larry Schmitz Savannah Ga
James Carmany with Aquatics Spa of Hilton Head delivered truly exceptional service not often found any more these days. Starting with simple things like communication from scheduling confirmation and pre-arrival calls, to a job completion demo video message to coming prepared with parts for the unexpected – I couldn’t be more pleased. His entire process is aimed to understand the concern, confirm the problem without completing lengthy repairs that don’t resolve the problem and is quick to offer additional maintenance options to prevent unnecessary future issues. A simple circular pump job quickly turned into some challenges, from poorly internal placed mechanics to the difficult to access recessed tub location, he never complained and got the job done with no plumbing cuts, leaving it great shape for the future. Doug is the epitome of professionalism and excellent customer service. When he says “call me for anything”, he means it. He just doesn’t sell you a spa, he makes you a customer for life. I love my spa and recommend Aquatic Spa highly.
Doug and Aqua Spa is a fantastic company to do business with. This week my spa wasn’t working. Doug came out, determined it was a faulty GFI and not the tub at all. After two years of owning this tub truthfully it just gets better. You purchase a product because of the reputation but you keep going back for the customer service. Doug and the Holly Hill, Fl are great!!
